D'YA WANNA CUPPA?: WALL HANGING

During my residency I made a little series of ceramic wall hangings, experimenting with the texture of pencils on dried clay. This is one of three sculptures that focus mainly on Scouse phonetics! I just love the way we talk. I admittedly used to hate it, but the accent, slang and dialect is something that truly encapsulates my home city and its people. Although this isn’t too deep into linguistics or necessarily overly scouse, it’s certainly a phrase well used and well loved in my home! 

Size: 15 × 10 × 7cm approx
Materials: Nylon-enforced Clay, Acrylic, Pencil, Gloss
How To: Display as a funky bit of decor. Comes with a small hole so that it can be hung from a nail and a flat base so can stand upright or hold small objects. This is a handmade art objects. Please keep in mind that keeping in direct sunlight may dull the colours and getting this item wet may disturb its colours and strength. Handle with care.
